This is a great place to walk around and there is a lot of shades due to the trees. The playground is nice but it's more for kids under 5, although there is a big slide for bigger kids. There are a lot of things to see such as the fish pond, the pagoda, among other things. There are a lot of history and good reads/displays. The name 228 is a relatively new name change due to politics, unfortunately.

Full of history where plaques are in English as well as a selection of other languages including Japanese. A pleasant walk.

Great park and easy to access. You can walk from here to CKS Memorial hall in 15 minutes. Pretty cool.

Great park. It has greenery, small ponds, places to sit, museums, old people doing taichi, beautiful pagodas etc... Also perfect location next to a main street and train station. Furthermore, there's an interesting monument there that sheds light on the reasoning behind the name 228 peace park

A very nice park. Definitely worth seeing if you are in the area. I wouldn't necessarily travel far out of your way for it, but it's worth checking out. The sculptures and landscaping are quite beautiful.
