What a fantastic evening we had here! I have walked by this place so many times and dismissed it as a typical "krog", it most certainly is so much more.
Playing classic tunes at the right volume, low enough so that conversation is easy, but loud enough to be heard.
The beer selection had a wide variety of bottles and great stuff on tap. We talked to the guy in charge of beverages and apparently they are bringing in a sturdy selection of products from microbreweries on tap and in bottles come fall.
This establishment has begun focusing more on food lately, according to the beverages "in chief". I am not surprised, the food was absolutely delicious. Good use of spices, balancing mellow and more pronounced flavours very well. I highly respect the chefs. The standards are those of a higher quality restaurant.
Now the service people at this establishment were great, lovely people with good attitudes and they are responsible for the fantastic atmosphere this place gives off.
Thank you for a great evening after a 6 hour drive from Oslo!
