Like coming home. To a Scandinavian home. Very much hygge, or whatever the Swedish word would be.
And the nearby shopping is good too.

One of the most underrated hotels in Stockholm is the Park Inn in Solna Centrum.
It is only 20 minutes in a taxi from Arlanda airport and about a 10 minute ride from Stockholm central station on the blue underground line to Akalla. The hotel is a two minute walk from the underground station located in a shopping centre. The hotel has a nice Italian wine bar at lobby, and a bigger restaurant on the first floor with also does the breakfast buffet. The breakfast is good and has everything you need both hot and cold food and the is fruits to take with you when you leave. There are also plenty of restaurants in the shopping centre and around the hotel if you want to try something else. There is also a good gym on the top floor of the hotel. The rooms are average but functional with a good design. The business rooms are slightly bigger as well. The the bathrooms are quite small but again very functional. The rooms have safes, mini bars, plenty of power sockets and good free WiFi. The only thing missing is an aircon system, however you can open the window and there are fans in the rooms.

One of the worst hotels. In a shopping mall. No fridge or lockers in rooms. Pillows or towels never changed. Rooms heating cold. No air con. Broken ironing boards. What a joke!

Nice hotel - well situated in/next to the shopping mall. When ordering a taxi: make clear arrangement whether it arrives in front of shopping mall or in the cellar/parking garage.
