Buena atención, todo está bastante bueno. Es un sitio que siempre está lleno, habitualmente tienen ofertas y para marisco no es caro. La chalana (mariscada) es muy abundante y merece la pena si te gusta el marisco. En general la calidad bien, hay sitios con marisco más fresco pero no está mal.

La Chalana siempre ha sido uno de mis restaurantes favoritos de Gijón, especialmente por su arroz con almejas. Hoy he ido a comer con mi familia política y he querido invitarles, pero sus camareros han actuado de la forma más machista posible: no aceptando que yo pagara a pesar de mi insistencia. Además, les hacía gracia y en ningún momento me tomaron en serio. Espero que algún día salgan de si caverna. Mientras, yo no pienso volver.

The food is good and portions are huge so you won't leave hungry but what I do not like is they do the segregation of the clients. If you are the standard one (ordering daily menu) you can only seat on the left side from the entrence. To go upstairs you need to order from the manu / card. There is even zone for the "premium" clients and this part of the restaurant is separated with the glass wall from the rest... So if you have no problem with that go and enjoy the food.
