By far the worst rental experience I've ever had. The insurance cost twice as much as the rental cost which was a big surprise for a 1 week rental.
This was bad enough, but then I was over charged 75€ upon returning the car. I returned the car on time and reservoir filled so I knew it had to be a mistake. I went back to the office and they told me to call customer service. I called 3 times and wrote 3 emails before I was finally refunded, 18€. Equaling the eventual cost of the phonecalls to customer service for an overcharge which wasn't my fault. At that point the service agent tried to explain to me that I was only overcharged 18€ and they do not owe me anymore because the VAT wasn't factored into the final price (although it's clearly written on the payment receipt that the amount included vat and all taxes).
Not wanting to spend even more money on phone calls to not get my money back, I sent an email that I was disappointed and would not be using this company in the future for rentals. A week later I received an email saying they identified their error and refunded me the difference which I was overcharged.
Unfortunately, it took 6 weeks from when I first called to the time I finally received my refund and took far too much time, energy and interaction from my part. While I appreciate the eventual resolution, I appreciate sound service much more, and that was not lacking. I will keep my original promise to not rent again from Thrifty or Hertz.
I gave 2 * because the car which I received was in good condition and the agent renting it to me cordial heard and understood my grievance on the cost of insurance compared to the rental.
I advise anyone willing to risk renting from this company to double check the charged amount on their card and get a final receipt after returning the car. Had I gone to the office to get a receipt after returning the car, I may had saved myself some trouble, because the originally claimed reason for the overcharge was that I returned the car 3 hours later than my receipt shows I did.

Muy mal. Alquilamos coche con rentalcars. Quisimos cambiar el nombre del conductor y fue imposible. Muy inflexibles y mal servicio. Estuvimos 3h para intentar hacer algo. Rechazaron todas las Propuestas y al cobrar os de nuevo por otro coche, abusaron absolutamente de la urgencia y nos cobraron el triple. Con lo cual mala atención al cliente y muy mal servicio.

Ok car rental place. Wants to add on a lot of "upgrades" that increases the price but that is the same as all others. We chose to upgrade to a SUV for 10 euros more and the car was basically brand new.

Easy experience and attendants knew many languages. Just a heads up, this office is also for Dollar Rent A Car. It took us awhile to figure this out.
