It was my first experience of car rental. The price was okay, cars was good, stuff was very polite. I knew that European roads are kinda tough, so I purchased 0 excess insurance just to be sure that everything covered. But I did not purchased extra insurance for tyres, windscreen, mirrors, because I thought it is not so important. Anyways, after I return a car, I was charged for 64 EUR for 29 litres of diesel (which cost 1.14 EUR in Spain, why 2,1 EUR for 1 liter?) then I was charged 74 EUR for SCRATCHES ON THE TYRE! What the hell is that? How I could avoid scratches on the tyre by driving the car? I got invoice for 210.95 EUR, but in fact I was charged 292 EUR as this money was in our contract as maximum as 292 EUR, and I was charged max. It seems they don't care if car returned as rubbish or just with scratch on a tyre, you will pay maximum amount. I will never use their service again. Hope they will not charge anything more from my credit card.

Superb customer service! Our service representative was William - friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and helpful.
At the very last moment, before entering the car, we discovered that our suitcases will not fit in the trunk. William was able to arrange an upgrade at lightning speed, and we drove off happily. Way to go, William and Sixt!

Splendid customer service at Barcelona Sants railway station. Quick, professional and competent handling of the car rental process from booking to return of the car. Particularly, the Sixt service representative (Lina) ensured an efficient procedure in a friendly atmosphere. A very good deal was provided compared to other car rental companies (early July 2017). Best car rental experience in Spain since many years. Well done!

The representative - Anne (at Barcelona, Sants Renfe) was amazingly competent, friendly and professionally efficient. The car was upgraded, in a perfect condition, clean and fully tanked. Excellent job, thank you SIXT!

The representative was nice and easy to deal with. My car was clean and came full with fuel. My only issue was that it took them 45 minutes to get my car cleaned and every time I asked they just said another 10 minutes.
Returning the car was easy and only took a minute, they didn't even do an inspection. Overall I think this is the best rental company in Spain.
