I love popping in to Carlton Café when I'm in Pretoria. Food tastes amazing and is skillfully presented. The cheesecake is some of the best I've had. In fact, it's so good, I had a few made to order for the cheesecake dessert table at our wedding in April this year.

Ambience is fantastic. However, I did find a hair in my breakfast, but it was handled very well and replaced with a freshly made breakfast :) I ordered a sweet spiced coffee and the coffee was cold. They waitress told me it was because of the syrup and then heated it up in the microwave. Not the best resolve but satisfactory. All in all, I would visit it again as the quality of food was excellent.

Had the best coffee of my life there. The food is excellent. Could easily see this being a regular place to visit.
