If you are keen on a fun day out for some decent food, drink and live entertainment, The Old Biscuit Mill is a great destination. Don't expect to find anything in the way of bargains here as most items are priced extremely high catering to more of the tourist market than the local one. Parking is somewhat of a nightmare so be smart and Uber there on the day.

I love this place. We bring friends and family when they visit us. It's fun, filled with great food, handmade goods and good music. I especially love seeing all sorts of cultures enjoying life in one place.

Great place to have a coffee. There are also lots of clothing stores as well as a camera/printing store too!
The place is okay for wheel chairs, so unfortunately access to most of the shops requires stairs. Not the most wheelchair friendly place. Although all the coffee shops are on the bottom floor, so you’ll be okay.

Finally went to the Biscuit Mill!
Seems to always be bustling which is great. There's an awesome atmosphere here.
You can walk around and shop through the handmade market or grab a bite to eat and sit down inside and listen to some chilled music. Definitely recommend. Parking is a bit of a nightmare though so be prepared to walk a bit. Nothing wrong with some exercise :)

The mill is the cool place to be for those that love crowds and lots of people. For me it was too much going on. I would compare it to being at a concert being in the front row and needing to push your way through people in order to reach the other side. They do offer lots of different food there. Shopping is for sure an option there as well. However after doing this once I don't need to do it again. The area is more alternative which I do like. But way too many people. There is a wood furniture dealer on the Main Street that offers nice refurbished used furniture. And nice coffee places near and around the mill.
