Went to have a pina colada since mynt was overflowing.
Despite sitting at the bar it took almost 15 minutes until I got it.
First sip impression was a fishy whiff amongst a rather dull and tasteless watery fluid with some crush ice in it. Could not taste any rum nor distinguish any other flavours...
2 sips later I paid suggesting they want to watch some YouTube clips to learn how it's properly done!

We sat down and waited 10 minutes for the waiter to pitch. As soon as he arrived we ordered drinks and food right away. Drinks came 30 minutes later and they made a rum drink with tequila thinking we wouldn't notice. Once we got our food, another 30 minutes later it was AWFUL. The black burgers looked great but the meat tasted totally off, the salmon was not cooked! We stopped eating immediately for fear of food poisoning and then asked for our bill. The bill came 20 minutes later. Worst place you can go in Camps Bay.

My family of three wanted to visit this restaurant last Friday, upon arrival, a waitress shown us the 2 for 1 special where we were explained that for the three of us, we could order four main courses (from Mains to the Norwegian Salmon on menu) and pay for two. We weren't sure that this could be correct so we TRIPLE checked with her and only after she reassured us did we went inside to sit down.
The waitress was highly impatient when I asked what brands are their tea and she actually answered me Lavazza which is the brand of coffee so I asked again which brands of tea do they serve. She could not understand my question and end up calling another staff member to see if he could understand me better. After he came over he claims that he needs to go find out which brands of tea do they stock. She then came back with Twinings Earl Grey and Green tea bags then lied that their rooibos is also Twinings made.
After ordering the four main course, she then come to tell us they will only put the special on the one set and not the other set. We then reminded her that she was the one who told us how the special worked and that we could order four and pay for two. She mumbled and fiddled just to say "That's how it works.". She then send a manager over, whom insulted my whole family by saying "I'm telling you this is how it works. It's our special, we could do it however we like. We don't give out free food." I explained that we were told that's how the special work, we didn't come for free food nor were we asking.
I asked for the waitress name only to be threw at with their business card by the manager.
Yes, this is your special so you could do as you wish. But is this how you treat your customers? We never expected free food, your waitress misguide us from the start. You could at least have the professionalism to apologize for your waitress mistake and the misunderstanding caused, not insult my family and then accuse us for wanting free food.
I will never take my family or friends to this restaurant again nor will I recommend it to anyone. I do not accept the manner we were treated and I cannot believe how this manager, Pieter behaved.
