We were in Porto in April and we took the wine country tour with guide, Tiago Santos, and Tiago was extremely informative and entertaining. As I recall there were six or seven of us in total and it was an intimate, comfortable setting with quite a few wine tastings and a lovely luncheon all included. Well done!

We enjoyed two day trips with Living Tours Porto.
0n 19 September 2017 to Santiago de Compostella - Miguel was our guide. The trip was well-organised and interesting from beginning to end - and Miguel made every second count with his intelligence, insight, knowledge and obvious love of the area and his country. Lunch was an absolute feast of local delicacies and wine. Miguel is a good driver and made us feel safe. Being picked up at our Airbnb address was an absolute bonus.
On 21 September to the Douro valley - Nunu was our guide and we hade the same kind of experience with him. Friendly, intelligent and very knowledgeable. Great lunch and port-tasting. It was Anntesia’s birthday and they made quite something of it
We recommend Living Tours and specially these two tours, Miguel and Nunu very highly.

We booked a small group wine tour of maximum 8 people in the Douro valley with a rabelo boat tour. We were loaded onto a large bus that drove all over town picking people up 24 in total. We went to the winery and had lunch and then to the dock for the boat ride. Instead of the quant rabelo boat that put two bus loads of people on a ferry for the boat ride. This was not what we paid for! Do not trust this company

We took two tours from here, totally loved it and enjoyed it very much. Quality service, good selection of restaurants and wine tasting vineyards. Our tour guide Ricardo and Miguel are very experienced and knowledgeable. Never a dull moment. Highly recommended to the Douro Valley tour and to Santiago, both is an all day tour.

Did the Douro Valley wine tour and it was great! Our guide was Ricardo and his knowledge of the port wine making process was incredible! We had tours and samplings at two wineries, a huge traditional lunch and a river cruise (not too long - about 45 minutes). This is an excellent day trip for people who love wine! Would definitely recommend it!
