Very nice place, fancy terrasse, great quality for price, very tasty fishes and super friendly service. Great choice :)

Good food but like with all restaurants here you need to know that the food that they bring out IS NOT complimentary. It is a common practice here to bring out either bread and/or meat and cheese plates when you sit down. The English menu says right at the top that if you do not eat these dishes you will not be charged. My biggest complaint with this place is that the address and location given by google maps and even the map used by yelp are way off. At least google maps had it within two blocks and then it wasn't even on the correct side of the street. Plus not one of the half dozen locals that we asked knew where this place was. The octopus dinner was like butter, but not enough to ever make me want to go there again.

The food was really good, no concerns and complaints here. However, I should've paid 18€, but ended up paying 25€, because the "complimentary" appetizers were not complimentary. This is the cheapest, most awful technique restaurants employ, and I think a place like Pateo is good enough not to. But they still do. When the bill came, it was already too late, because I ate the appetizers that they put on the table without me asking for. When you serve appetizers without asking, you can't just put them on the bill at the end. Really awful and I left really unhappy, hence the two stars!
