Average park lying in between the Jeronimos Monastery and the Discoveries Monument. What counts against it; you will get swarmed by 2 annoyances -1) hawkers/gypsies trying to sell you trinkets, so also watch your bag and pockets...2) lots of bees and flies around actually made me want to rush past this place. But it's a necessary stop when visiting the Monastery so what the hell! Also worth trying the Pateis de Belem from the nearby famous patisserie.

A beautiful park at the waterfront and right in front of the old monestary. Big beautiful fountaine. Perfect for a short break on a warm day.

Beautiful garden, with a great view of Tegus River, large space of grass, to relax, read, eat or talk under the trees. Nice!
