Super cheap... but super neglected as well. Seems like they employ only one horticulturist - in part time. Not what you would expect when you visit a botanic Garden. If you're interested in Botanic it is better to visit the "Estufa Fria" near Marques de Pombal.

I don't know why people keep giving bad ratings.. I went there In August. The entry fee was 2 euros (kew gardens in the UK is like over 15 pounds). Surely it wasn't the cleanest and most well kept place but the trees and plants were amazing and I liked that there weren't many people around. I prefer a quiet and relaxing experience when walking around in botanical gardens and I've really enjoyed my time there. It was totally worth 2 euros. A ride on public transport generally costs way more for a few minutes than these few hours spent in nature for such a small fee. (I'm saying all this to people who kept giving such low rating to this place because I don't understand their point) I'd definitely go back even just to spend some quite time away from the noise of the city!
