Can't breath or sleep
If you are like me and enjoy fresh air this place is definitely not the place for you.. For some reason they switched the air con off in winter and only hot stale air available, after complaining they advised me to open the window for a cool draft.. Really is that you're best solution.. Never again traffic and planes flying over the hotel too noisy awake all night , absolutely no rest or solution... Stay away.

I enjoyed my stay here. Staff were excellent and very helpful. Room was really clean and comfortable. Great TV, shower, bed, etc.
Two comments - walls seem quite thin and can often here other guests at night. Also, the quality of the food is quite poor and too expensive for what it is.
Based on this experience, I will be returning to an Ibis hotel.

Staff were fantastic, room was small but clean and functional, breakfast was good.
Aircraft and traffic noise, even with double-glazing was the reason I would not stay longer.
The 100% microwaved food in the bar/restaurant was a disappointment - surely basic fresh cooking such as steaks, omelettes, fried food would not be too much to ask.

This is a perfectly fine budget hotel, close to public transport, reasonably comfortable, clean and the staff were very competent. The parking arrangements were quite good: the answer is, if you are driving there... out the back. The front of the hotel is a driver's nightmare. The main problem is the location, which is within a few hundred metres of the landing path of planes coming into the Lisbon airport. Although the windows were double glazed it wasn't great.

We booked two rooms and were given adjacent ones which was great. Staff was very helpful and kind. The flavoured waters at the reception desk were fantastic - specially when coming from the walks around town. All great.
