Wonderful, friendly, & knowledgeable staff. Had wonderful wines and tried some amazing olive oil. Highly recommend!

It looked cosy and indeed with a lot of wines. However, when you only serve wine&cheese&ham I find it not customer friendly (nor commercially smart) to send people away when you have free tables and another 45 minutes of opening time.

Don't be fooled by the location. This is not a tourist trap! The selection of wines is excellent, as is the service. Come here to taste some great Portuguese wines, and see the castelo later if you have time!

Surprised to find such a high quality wine bar so close to the castle. They really know and love wines. Sampled 3 bottles and then settled in to a full glass of red Duoro. Ordered a 20€ plate of Iberico ham to share which was so worth it. The bread and olives are amazing - best bread all trip.
