One of the most beautiful houses we have ever stayed in. Right on the waterfront facing the bay of Funchal. Beautiful interiors, large windows full of light all facing the ocean. Excellent airport transfers, communication, and friendly service from Funchal Cottages. Thanks to the team.

We had a warm welcome with all the necessary information. The description of the house and it's surroundings are exactly as described. The house was very clean and wonderfully decorated. The sea view was absolutely fantastic to say the least. Restaurants & shops are all in walking-distance (just minutes). We thank Cristina for the nice stay in her amazing sea-front house.

Loved staying with Funchal Cottages in the center of the old town. The luxury of a seafront location, professional service and the best self catering villa we have ever stayed in.

We had a large family reunion so some stayed in Casa Mar and we also stayed in Painters Cottage - a perfect holiday. The best views we have ever had, gorgeous seafront location in the heart of the old town. Funchal Cottages arranged our transfers and made our stay and booking easy. Madeira is a fantastic island for a activity packed week. Will come back soon.
