To be honest, I left the gardens crying. All the plants were beautiful and it seems that they took care of it, but the animals were in a terrible condicion. There was a pond where the fishes could be reached by hand and that was so full of them that was heart-breaking. All the aquariums were so full with fishes that they could barely move (some of them had injuries because of the lack of space). There were two big parrots in a tiny cage were they couldn't fly even for a meter!. I literally saw how a kid punched the terrarium of a yellow toad and there was no gard to stop him. And that was in a day when there were just a few people in the gardens...I don't want to think about the weekends when the place is full to the top with people. I thought I was going to see some plants, not an animal prison.

Worth the price. Very diverse greenhouse with a large aquarium as well.

Absolutely amazing! The amount and variety of plants and fish is simply astounding. 10/10 must see!

Fantastic place, I'm visiting it since I was child. Now I'm coming with my children and they love it. Remember to bring few 1zlotys to buy some food for fishes and turtles and feed them from hand 😀

Palmiarnia it is a unique place in Poznań and in Poland. It has a huge collection of plants from all over the world. And very nice aquariums. It could be a litte bit more tidy over there. It is a cafe and souvenirs shop inside.
