The Swiatowit Hotel is pretty much par for the course as it comes to hotels. The room was clean, if a bit dated in terms of appearance. There was a complimentary breakfast every morning that had a spread of meats, cheeses, fruits and veggies, as well as coffee. The location is great, close to Pietrkowska Street and other city attractions. The only thing that worried me was that I was able to open the room windows wide, even though I was on the eleventh floor, which would be a cause for concern if I was traveling with children or some of my clumsier friends.

This hotel is for sure from some other timeline. If you need place to sleep over, don't go there in summertime - chances are, your room will be too hot to sleep comfortably, opening window is also not an option as city traffic does never stop. Coffee for breakfast is made from instant coffee and and its made ready. Also, you will be charged separately (7€ per night) for parking there.

Soviet era hotel. Very unsafe lifts. Friendly staff. Unappealing breakfast. Comfortable rooms. Very good location
