One of the most popular churches in the Philippines. It houses the image of the Black Nazarene. Millions of Filipinos flock the church all year long. The security inside is strict which is a good thing. Priests hearing confessions are available daily. Hourly Masses especially on Friday are observed. Can get really, really crowded. Beware of pick-pockets around the vicinity.

this is one of the most well known and visited church in Manila, many devotees visits and pray and ask the help of the Black Nazarene, and most of their prayers are answered, tbe Feast of the Black Nazarene is every 10th of January, in which a procession is done within selected Street of Manila and devotees flocks.

My grandparents brought me here when I was ill. I came from the USA and they brought me here for a miracle. The doctors no longer found any problems with lungs and heart. My breathing was fine and I don't need to use an inhaler for 14 years now.

Cool and well ventilated church despite crowds during masses. Confessions are offered but I suggest to confess on weekdays since the lines are too long on weekends. A little walk outside and you will see stalls that sell various merchandise at cheapest price.
