As a German, I naturally had to visit this restaurant, although I was disappointed in advance, since no questions were answered!
The restaurant is not easily to find, also by taxi. Therefore you should order early a return taxi, because otherwise you waiting truly an eternity!
In the restaurant there were more disappointments, such as:
1) The restaurant is quite small, especially if you have saw previously the pictures on their website, which feign a really great restaurant.
2) No one speaks German there. I await not much, but a greeting in german like "guten Abend" or "herzlich Willkommen"
3) No German beer!
4) The food had German names, but the selection of these was very low, mostly there were Schnitzel in several versions. It lacked so many German dishes such as Schweinehaxe (pig knuckle), Knödel (dumplings), Gulasch (goulash).
All the typical German side dishes did not exist, only sauerkraut.
5) We were only three, but all had to wait very long for our food. My Roulade was nice size, but content and the flavor reminded me this only at Germany, that i get there more tastier. Also I not get it with typical side dish red cabbage (Rotkohl), because there was not this there.
Only one star acts tough, but as a German I'm much better accustomed!

This is restaurant is located in BTC on the right side. It is a quaint restaurant that specializes in German cuisine.
For me, I'd say they serve the best French Onion soup in Cebu. The soup is balanced in flavor with slightly thick broth and sweet white onion cuts.
We ordered Garlic fries also as our appetizer. It was thick and crunchy brimming with flavor brought by the garlic-parmesan dip.
As with our entree, we ordered the Grill Spiess "Athena" and Steak Madagascar. The steak was cooked perfectly, with a strong flavor from the gravy. The Athena was a bit dry though.
Overall, it is a good restaurant, especially for those looking for something different to eat. Their baked french onion soup is a must-try.

offering dishes in relatively larger than normal for a relatively affordable price. A single dish is already enough to fill your empty stomach.
