ferinos cafe has recently had a makeover. it is now air-conditioned. my friend and I love going here because I rate ferinos bibingka 5 stars. the Salabat is warm and great. the people serving are so home style and warm. except now I found out they have stopped using the old fashioned charcoal palayok style stove to cook their bibingka.you could see them cooking over the smokey stove in front of the cafe.....they now use an oven...hmmm..it's better for the air it's less polluting. and my friend and I ate the ferinos bibingka last monday and thank goddess--it tastes as SARAP as we remember it to be if cooked on the smokey cookstoves. oven cooked doesn't change its taste.
