Great hostel with great atmosphere. The location is great and the cost is very reasonable. The building is also very secure and they offer lock up for your bags if you need to leave items behind when out on excursions. The rooms also have large individual cubby spaces that can be locked (bring your own lock). I highly recommend this hostel.

Very nice looking hostel. Has its own bar with activities every night. Free breakfast. And an in house travel agency. They van make you a decent lunch bag for your day trips. The staff was always very helpful.

Kokopelli is a really nice hostel no doubt about it, but it's not without it's fault.
We paid 100 soles a night for shared couple dorms (the most I've ever paid for a hostel).
We had these really well crafted pod type beds with PLENTY of space for your bags, easily lockable with plug sockets and an extremely comfy bed!
The bathroom is really nice but the shower drip feeds water and is scolding hot at times, I'd expect a better shower for the money you pay, but, if you're not fussed about the shower, this is an excellent room.
The food at the hostel is AMAZING... Literally amazing and at a very good price for what it is.
I did laundry here and they lost an expensive trekking sock, when I confronted them about it, they just sort of laughed and offered me a Coca-Cola as a bribe. I accepted, so what can I say.
Overall, a REALLY nice hostel but that's what you're paying for!
