Passed through Golden Inca Hotel several times during our stay in Peru. The staff was great (Hi Eduardo!) The staff is more than willing to try their English with you (some are very good). They have a place where you can store your gear while you are off on side treks. The breakfast is simple but more than enough to get your day going. (If I could make one suggestion, there was a place in the dining room for Comidas Calientes, but there was never any hot food at breakfast.) The rooms were clean, the showers were hot, the wifi was 75%+!. If we return to Cusco, we will definitely stay at the Golden Inca.

This is a good hotel. It is only about a 10 minute walk from Plaza del Armas and I felt safe walking at night with my husband. The lady at the desk speaks English which was helpful for us. All the staff was friendly. The breakfast had bread, yogurt, chocolate milk, variety of fruit, ham, cheese, tea, coffee and it was good. The rooms were clean. The first night we didn't have any hot water for a shower and we called the front desk and they tried to fix it but couldn't. The next night we had hot water. Overall, this is a good hotel but nothing special about it.
