Beautiful hotel but, in my opinion, a bit expensive considering the relation cost/benefit. There was a extra fee for rooms with view to the sea. The vent of the general air conditioner was located near the bed, causing a discomfort.

Slightly quirky older hotel. On the waterfront, friendly staff, with breakfast and dinner included. Good place to explore tromso.

The best hotel by far in tromso... the chef was great the staff in the reception especially the man from Andora (spain). The romm was fantastic with the most great view.. thanks a lot!!!

Stayed in the deluxe room with the waterfront view. This allowed us to watch aurora directly from the widow (and stay warm). The rooms are very clean with comfy bed. The hotel has very pleasant stuff.
There was a complementary waffle bar during afternoon and then a dinner. This feature is vey important because the prices in Norway are very high for everything, including food. The dinner was good, everyday serving different hot meals. The breakfast was also very good.
The only problem is parking, however, one can park a car in a parking lot of their sister hotel across the street (if there is a parking spot available).
