Service can be a hit or miss. That never is a good sign for the longevity of a business. Great cocktails though. They're just not good enough to keep me going back. Not recommended.

I was there the first month they opened about a year Ago and food and service were excellent. I would have given them 5 stars. Now one year later , it is a shame to eat here. Quality is missing, just another restaurant, nothing special but expensive and really angry waitress. Do not recommend sadly. The local kebab shop is way better...

BAR social eating was a really fun experience. The food was really decent and the staff was nice, but the biggest draw of the newly opened restaurant is it's commitment to get their guests to interact and talk. Every meal on the menu is made to be shared with each other. We were a group of 4 and we all ordered their "all-in" menu which consists of 8 meals. This restaurant would be a great place for old friends to catch up, or simply for any group of friends or family. The décor is really nice and makes you feel relaxed and at home. The location is also spot on, as it is in the very centre of Stavanger.
