A cool, beautiful, serene, quiet and sometimes lively place to relax with friends, loved ones and family. Cusine variety is available. Good for sight seeing as it is partly a museum and a cultural heritage center. A good spot to hold/host parties, events, video and photo shoots.

Nice place to hang out with friends and family. Excellent contemporary live shows on offer mostly on Fridays. A tourist's delight with the history behind this place.

Great history. Amazing work of transforming an old colonial prison into such a beautiful and green space. It's former residents were in shackles but today's, those ho walk on these grounds are totally free.

Love the history of Nigeria and the nuggets that the great guides share. This is a vibrant place with rehearsals going on and you get to bump into these performers. There is a bar and restaurants where you get to sample what the locals like. Please make time for this amazing place.

Freedom Park is located on broad street, marina, Lagos Island. Formerly known as the old prison ground which is now a public place, open to all.
The entire environment is architecture and nature at work, fused together to complement each other.
A flower friendly environment with fresh air, good atmosphere, a very cozy and warm place for romantic lovers, nice structures, there's a mini museum, and a lot of statues showcasing our culture and heritage, there's food court for food lovers, there's amphitheatre for drama and cultural dancers, there's a big stage for live band and music.
