The breakfast could be improved.
Attention to detail could also be improved as i would often have to wait for a dish to be replenished during the breakfast meal or ask one of the staff if this is going to be refilled.

I enjoyed staying at Tivoli - the service was friendly and professional and the room was clean and neat and is well appointed. The standard of food in the dining room was also very good. I will certainly return when I come to Maputo again.

I was very positively surprised at the quality of the room and the service. I have stayed multiple times in Maputo at several hotels. Never at Hotel Tivoli. The first suprise was the cleanliness of the room--unusual at other hotels of the same level in Maputo. The service: the breakfast room and the breakfast offer a very good breakfast with items replaced often.Even if one comes slightly at the end of the time slot for breakfast, the items are still available. Also the personnel: I used to stay most of the time in my room working; twice a day someone would knock on my door asking whether everyhing was ok. I definitely will stay again in this hotel in my next trips to Maputo. The only thing I missed in my room was some kind of lighting on the top of the desk allowing me to work more easily.

To be honest the stay at Tivoli was wonderful, the room was fantastic and I enjoyed the breakfast.
The only too thinks I had an issue was the coffee or tea in the room was not enough and as I only came back late in the evening I could call for replenishing as the time for that had passed. The other thing is if they could include a few more English channels for the TV.

The Hotel is just classic and very neat. welcoming staff and friendly. the only concern was that check out was a bit slow, took a bit long to clear due to currency (Dollar) exchange rate issues.
the food was good and a variety was provided.
a bit more needs to be done on sound proofing some rooms which face the high ways.
internet was excellent. very good hotel and will surely come back, puts Mozambique on world map.
