Just what you expect in a bussines chain hotel. Rooms are Clean but nothing fancy, bathroom looks a lit bit old. The shuttle service (free) is a major asset, breakfast is good (just good) the best of this hotel: LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION.

The staff is amazing and room was up to par. I'm glad I chose cityexpress hotel in zona Rio. I'm coming back when I get my next procedure done in tj.

We arrived here and the check in was pretty quick. Got to the room and although it's a bit small, it looked good. It was pretty quiet and very close to a couple of bars and night clubs if you're into that.

The hotel is very clean but rooms are somewhat spartan. Big screen TV works fine with two English speaking channels and some U.S. shows with Spanish subtitles. Guests of guests are not welcome. Ice is available on the ground floor but no ice bucket is provided and only one plastic cup.
Continental breakfast is better than most with ample choices and quantity. Expect to pay $100 with tax for a single so there are far cheaper choices in Tijuana.

Between bugs and beds that feel like concrete. What more needs to be said. I made the mistake of staying here for almost a week. Yes the staff is fairly friendly, but when you have little red bugs crawling from out or under your mattress. At that point, its time to find somewhere else. Granted the location was perfect. But the little red bugs did it in for me. Not to mention the constant smell of a backed up sewer from the showers......well that if your staying above the third floor. It was a mistake staying there. Reason for 2 stars instead on 1 or less stars is that i want this post to actually be read.
