Terrific customer service and no surprises! The staff is very friendly and helpful. I assume they are the owners because they put that much effort into giving the best service.
Last year I used Enterprise and totally regretted it. You book online and don't know what they are going to charge you for mandatory insurance until you get there. Enterprise charged way too much, and upon checkout, they snuck in even more charges. I had to deal with corporate to get some of it refunded (via future credit which was a pain to use).
With SB I pre-booked with full insurance (mandatory liability and full LDW) so no surprises whatsoever.
They were also flexible enough to let us drop the car at the ferry to save us the need for a taxi (for a small and reasonable fee).
