Rented a Rav4 from Alex for 6 weeks and had an excellent experience. I phoned around a few providers before choosing this company, and Alex was able to provide a competitive price and good availability. The drop off / pick up process was very smooth, and Alex was easily contactable and helpful throughout. The car itself was in excellent condition and provided a reliable service throughout the hire period. I would certainly go back to Alex again and highly recommend based on the experience I had.

Disappointing experience for our 10 days renting with a driver / guide
The driving part is good. However the guide is not as experienced as he described. He often underestimates driving time (making trips 2 to 3 hours longer than he promised), and chose roads according to his experience which is sometimes not up to date...
What's really bad was that the owner gave misleading information about the Train to Mombasa so that we could continue taking his car service.
For heaven's sake, the driving from Nairobi to Mombasa took 10hours and the road was really bad because of the trucks, traffic etc (Driver told us 6 hours...)
As we realized that we were actually "misguided" and wanted to send the car back immediately so that we could save the cost of two days (one way driving = two days cost). The owner just refused to refund us because he did not have any customer in the pipeline.
This is extremely unpleasant because we felt cheated and forced to take the car. It is within customers' right to cancel an unreasonable service. We just could not imagine that he persuaded us to take car to go to Mombasa... train or air is really normal way to choose.
So we ended up paying 4 days of the car with using only one day, the driver was "on holiday" for 3 days of doing nothing and still asked for a tips... couldn't believe this would happen.
Be careful if you are booking any tour / guide service from this company. Choose others with better experience.

I had a great experience with this company. They have competitive prices and are very professional. Our car was in great shape and was able to take us wherever we needed to go. We also requested a driver which made getting around easier.
