There is a sushi shop in 滝見小路，is a very traditional sushi shop, they serve the Unagi Don (eel rice bowl) 鰻魚丼 is excellent, I have not had this good Unagi Don before.

Once you enter down the stairs it's the first restaurant immediately in front of you. The sliding door entrance is on the left just inside the hallway. No line at late 1:30ish as we came after the lunch rush. Though a line started to form as we finished.
No English menu but the chefs and staff explained all the options and pointed to their respective cartoon pictures (ex: meat, squid, noodles). Food was fantastic and stayed hot and warm as it stayed on the cooking grill. With the sweet brown sauce, it was like eating a huge protien stuffed takoyaki pancake and the batter is thoroughly cooked all around.
Service was amazing and extremely welcoming as well. As we left our chef noticed our almost empty water bottle and filled it up full so we stayed hydrated during the hot Osaka summer weather! Wow!
Next time I'm trying this again, but with more bacon and noodles :d
