I had a comprehensive workout at Gold's. As you'd expect, there's loads of equipment, including machines I've never even come across before. As a foreign visitor, it costs ¥2700 for a single five hour visit, and you'll need to bring your ID and some "indoor" shoes (to do the funny dance between dozens of different types of footwear on which the Japanese insist). You're also better off bringing your own towel.

トレーニング機器も充実してます。直結の駐車場は割と満車が多く、辛島公園の方に停める事も多々。

Nice place for serious work out. The staff and trainers are friendly. No swimming pool though.
