We had a nice room overlooking the canal, with a nice new(ish) bathroom. The staff have been helpful and friendly which was a pleasant surprise! Decent enough breakfast with a "real" coffee included. Yum.

Pleasantly surprised, our room is comfortable and clean with a canal view. Excellent location. Breakfast is good, there's real coffee and tasty croissants with other cold buffet items available. Only negative is our room is really quite cold, it could do with some form of heating during the cooler months.

Placed on 4th floor with no elevator. Room was nice, however; to vent/cool the room in the evening we had the windows open and were eaten alive by mosquitoes. There was an exposed wire above the sink in the bathroom. It began to spark and then a loud pop which blew the circuit breaker to the room. No one at the desk so we called the main number, no answer. We called the 2 emergency numbers, again, no answer. We went to the restaurant next door which is the breakfast area for the hotel and we were told they have no affiliation with the hotel (huh, same name?) and wouldn't help us? I have never written a bad review and frankly probably should have waited until morning to write this, however; needed to vent a little. If given the choice I wouldn't stay here again.

Beautiful hotel overlooking the canal. Elegant venetian decor. The restaurant is truly authentic with delicious food.

Perfect location, 3 minutes from the main square, the room is well equipped and beautiful, the breakfast was delicious and had everything we could have asked for. Moreover the view from the windows was amazing.
