Ristorante Pecorino

The place is nice, but small. When we arrived at 8pm it was quiet (we'd booked), but it soon filled up. Tables are close together so talking became difficult.
The food was good, simple Roman cuisine though the presentation wasn't up to much. We felt it was a bit overpriced at €12 for a plate of pasta and €10-12 for pizza.

Roman friend took us to dinner. Best pasta ever. Spaghetti caccio de Pepe not to be missed. Best meal in our whole trip to Italy, including Sorrento and Capri.

We went to this restaurant with high expectations after reading other reviews. Unfortunately we were sorely disappointed.
We ordered reasonably simple meals; the cannelloni, the Rigatoni and a side of seasonal vegetables. The cannelloni was a nice dish and one I would have again. However, the Rigatoni had undercooked pasta and the bacon consisted on thick pieces of rind with no meat. Very disappointing. The side of seasonal vegetables was a plate of what we think was kale and garlic. This was very bitter, a little burnt and generally inedible. Additionally the staff were very disinterested and generally gave the impression they would rather be anywhere but there. Overall a very disappointing experience.
