Friendly staff,friendly owner. Great tasting meals at very affordable rates. Very cosy and warm. Will definitely visit again when next I visit Rome

Great place, went after papal vespers at St. Paul outside the walls. Owner is real friendly, quite open to foreigners. Definitely would go again if I'm in the area. Food was excellent.

This is a nice secluded place with the locals away from the busy city. The food is somewhat set but can be modified, the owner will help you with how to order, it is straightforward. The great thing about this place is that the food seem to be made freshly and comes to you hot as soon as it's made. Also, you get a good portion on your plate for what you pay; excellent value for money. The place had a nice Italian feel to it and when it gets busy with locals into the late evening you may even get over the language barrier and have a nice chat with them too. Usually a good sign if the locals eat here. Overall it's a nice friendly place where the food is good and the service is exemplary. However, may be out of the way for some but, nothing Google maps can't find once your GPS is on and you downloaded the map of Rome ( don't even need a signal ).

A wonderful taste of Rome! This was our first meal in Rome and we had an excellent experience. We ordered the 7€ lunch menu and couldn't believe the amount of delicious food we got for such a low price. The waitstaff was very friendly and helpful. Definitely try the Cacio e Pepe!
