What a wonderful restaurant that we just happened upon by chance for lunch whilst looking around Piacenza. I had the fegato (unbelievably good with sweet grapes) and my husband had the tagliatelle ragu (with a lovely hint of buttery sage and beautifully made pasta). We finished with a wonderful zabaglione and drank an excellent 'Merum' Guturnio which was by a new young wine producer. Apart from the food being absolutely gorgeous, the service excellent and the ambience perfect, the proof of the pudding is always in the eating and this place was packed with locals eating heartily good, tasty and fresh, uncomplicated, regional food of Emilia Romagna. We will always return here.

Non ho avuto modo di mangiare in questo posto, che di storico ha solo la via in cui è ubicato, il locale ha un arredo finto rétro, ben studiato a tavolino. Una stella va alla maleducazione della signora che non mi ha accolto all'ingresso, la freddezza dell'ostessa non si addice proprio a un luogo che è stato segnalato da slow food, anche la chiusura alle 13.45 è da mensa. Per non rischiare un'altra 'congestione' opterò quando sono a Piacenza per Renato o l'Osteria d'una Volta, dal sapore nel cibo e nell'accoglienza assolutamente antichi.
