The bikes here were certainly nothing special. There were 5 of us (2 adults and 3 children aged 16, 13 and 10. We got a mixture of well-used but functional bikes, including one with no 3 gears. If you just drive around the city and take the wall tour, this fact does not really matter because 97% of the route is flat. The prices were on the lower end of the competitive scale at the time we rented.
Each bike comes with a map, so don´t buy one of the maps on display in the office - we did and the clerk "forgot" to mention that this was unneccessary.

The guys from the staff we're really nice and willingly to help you , in just 2 minutes we were ready to go equipped with a map of the city and a lock, would advise this place to my friends and family!!

Perfect location, just outside entrance to train station. Polite, professional service. We rented two surreys for 3hrs at €20 each. Wish we had more time to explore. Special thanks to Dragos for suggesting a place where we could buy my son a cycling jersey. :) Grazie!

Perfect!. Reserved on line prior to going. We were greeted by a friendly employee who had our reservation and bicycles ready to go.The bicycles had nice baskets, locks and a map of the city. So easy to find the Tourist center of Lucca was just to the left after exiting the train station. It couldn't be closer. Riding through Lucca was so beautiful. We had a great day.
