I'm giving this five stars out of a price-to-quality ratio.
We arrived here tired, after a week of camping, and wanted a hotel in L'Aquila, so we could leave the next morning straight to our flight in Rome. I hadn't done any research, so we just looked around. This hotel was the first we saw, right by the train station, and we were very happy, from the friendliness of the reception guy, to the quality of the room. We were travelling with our granddaughter (birthday present), and were able to get a two-room choice for a modest price.
There's no breakfast, but you get a 20% discount at the train station cafe.
Though it's across the station, it's quiet at night, and while looking out the window towards the hills, you can think you're in the countryside.
We enjoyed eating at the "Old Train Station" restaurant, which is walking distance from the hotel. And there's a supermarket close by.
Again, excellent for its price.

A place where you feel like at home .Very friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Big 👍 for the garden.....a real pleasure for a coffee or a glass of wine.
