Overall this place is great but they should not charge 85 Euro for the 2 inch thick T'Bone. It just felt like we got tourist trapped and I would have been happy with anything under $50. Try the Zucchini Flowers and of course the Bruschetta. Prices other than the steak by the "hg" are very reasonable and part of the fault is mine because I thought they'd show me the cut first and not just cook one of their choosing. I should have also communicated thar I did not desire a hundred dollar piece of meat but they should also communicate better from their end about a few choices.
Ho there, enjoy the great food and wine, and be clear if you want the huge steak as to how huge you want it in Euro, not weight.

This place is fantastic. A surprising favorite meal in Italy. Came here by chance for lunch, came back same day for last dinner while in the country.

We stopped here by chance. The best authentic italian food we had. Simple food, with great ingredients and a passionate chef. A must go!

This is easily one of the top 5 restaurants in Tuscany -- Nay, in Italy. The menu is typical tuscan, the ingredients are astoundingly fresh and "zero Kilometres" locally sourced, and if you are a vegetarian you'll be missing out on their signature Florentine Steak and various Ragu. Do not let its run-down, low-key appearance put you off: it is part of the charm. This place easily serves some of the best food in the whole country.

A traditional, family-run trattoria, a 5 minute walk from Il Duomo. The owner, a really friendly guy, made us a couple of dishes that weren't on the menu with some fresh ingredients he'd found that day, and they were absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was great and the staff were very welcoming and hospitable.
