Considering the rewiews I read I was expecting much much more: I thought I was going to eat simple traditional food cooked to perfection. Tagliatelle too salty, tortellini in brodo were too hard, cotoletta bolognese average.

This was a recommendation from the hotel for best Italian in town. It certainly is not. I think there was a translation issue.... bread was bad, old and stale, I ordered a beer and got a can of Beck's (really, a German beer??). Antipasto was average. The tortellini was pretty good; that saved the meal.
Perhaps I was disappointed in part because I was expecting an Italian culinary experience.
