You will find a family here, as well as a very rich Aikido. I highly recommend to meet this Aikidokas. Sensei Ray was very welcoming with me and I learned much from his teaching during my stay in Dublin.
In their everyday work you can tell how committed they are to the study of this discipline, and yet they are not rigid nor tense. In a serious, relaxed and fun environment you will find their Do.

Great place to learn Aikido, and other Martial Arts, and Yoga. Good atmosphere, friendly people, patient teaching with great attention to detail, permanently fixed mats, very clean and well-organised. As far as I know this is also the only place in Dublin where Iwama Weapons style is being taught. Prices are reasonable, too, especially if you pay by direct debit. There are also well-attended but not over-crowded Kids' Classes, where the children learn safely while also having great fun.

I started attending the beginners Aikido class on Monday evenings under Sensei Colin Meagle a number of weeks ago. I find the class enjoyable and informative, with great attention to detail. The sensei is very knowledgeable and approachable. I would highly recommend the Henshin Aikido dojo to anyone living in the greater Dublin area.
