This is the name given to the housing colony developed by Kanpur Dev Authority with the support of World Bank. Soo people call them as Barra Vishwa Bank Colony. Barra was the name of a village which was acquired by KDA to develop this colony. One of the biggest colonies of Northern India but has lot of average and drainage problems since its inception

A prominent Chauraha in South Kanpur. Situated at Delhi Howrah Highway. A part of ex PM Sri AB Vajpayee's dream project 'Golden rectangular'. An awfully busy place full of traffic, but not properly managed. Traffic jam is very common phenomenon here.
