Nice place for hanging out with family and friends specially in winter days.. Large ground for playing. Sitting beside Ganges is a must thing you can do. Easy transportation for Kolkata and Howrah. Ticket price is very low. You can get good food joints nearby

A very nice place to visit specially for the nature lovers. Excellent for morning walkers and joggers. Calm and quiet place in the northern bank of River Hooghly. One can find lots of rare plants and orchids. The famous banyan tree is another attraction.

Beautiful & quite place which will bring your eternal peace back in your mind. This place remind me of my old village. A lot of greenery with natural look. So many old trees with few new ones standing bsides the path make u feel like u lost in green kingdom. It's totally different from modern days planned park which are decorated with flowers & decorating plant.

The famous age old banyan tree will welcome you in a grand way. Treat yourself with the greenery, various trees and shrubs, and the lovely bank of Ganges. Although you need to be a bit careful as the stairs going down to the river is a bit slippery and non-maintained. Boating in the lake can also be a good option. It's a good place for both couple and family.
