A complete shame in the name of Oberoi Group!!!! I actually felt like being in the era of British Raj wherein Indians were belittled but that was at least by the Britishers but here it was the fellow Indians!!
Overrated food with pathetic taste!complete nightmare in the name of hospitality! We have penchant for visiting 5 star properties now n then...i have never come across such horrible waiter n waitress with fake smile n so ill mannered! GO TO THIS PLACE IF YOU WANNA EXPERIENCE HOW INDIANS WERE ILL TREATED DURING BRITISH RAJ!!

I'm sorry to see that others had a less-than-stellar experience, but certainly our meal was first rate last week. The service was excellent & the setting/decor was very pleasing. The Thali course & other selections were exceptional, as was the live music, which was entertaining but not distracting. This was the best Indian food we had in two weeks of visiting central/northern India & I would return in a heart beat. The Oberoi itself has spectacular views of the Taj, the staff is extremely attendant & the pool can't be beat!

The food is outstanding and so is the service. The stewards and waiters are extremely helpful and courteous. Good Continental food id also available. If you are staying at Amarvilas please give it a try,
