Amazing place. As you stand at one end and look down the marble hallway surrounded by large columns you feel you are part of history. Unfortunately there was a woman who was working there who chose to be overly protective of the place and wanted to make sure no one was smiling, laughing, taking too many pictures or overly noisy. She seemed very stressed. Other than her interactions with others this was a pleasant place to visit. The museum inside has some good info about the place.

It's better looking from the outside then on the inside. The inside has 5 chambers with basically ancient pots and pans (and some statues). You won't read every single one of them little text boards will you?

There is a bust of Herodotus in the porch - that is all that I need to love this place. Oh, there is also a small museum containing artifacts here as well, but I just though the bust of Herodotus was cool.

Brilliantly reconstructed Stoa, and very engaging museum of artifacts. The museum is well laid out, has good descriptive information about different eras and tools from 5000 years of Greek history. The sculptures on the outside are worth spending time on as well.

If you are love to see ancient Greek sculpture heads, then you must visit this place. They hv nice collection on the first floor. Don't miss it.
