I stayed at the Amalia for a few hours and had both breakfast and lunch there. It's a nice place, with pleasant and friendly staff. They have traditional greek food but I found that you could get better authentic greek food nearby. They have a gym on site in the basement. There is a bus stop outside the hotel for coaches to collect tourists for trips.

Great hotel and location. In the center of everything in Athens. Good breakfast buffet. Pleasant employees. Free Wi-Fi!

Really nice hotel. Staff very friendly. Roof garden views really quite something. Be happy to stay again

Room was nice and the included breakfast is a nice buffet to cater to most tastes. Very well placed. Close to the Acropolis (10 min. walk) and Plaka (a few streets right behind the hotels). Plenty of attractions nearby and lots Of restaurants for all tastes.
