Huge selection of homemade liqueurs and Greek wine. Very friendly service and colorful decorations. Great ouzo. Highly recommended. (Customers smoking inside is a bit of a downside.)

Bretto's was one of our first stops in Athens Plakka neighborhood, and what a treat!! Their house distilled liqueurs, brandies, and mixed drinks are top notch (I recommend the Seabreeze!). The staff was friendly and helpful, even offering some local eats that turned out to be exceptional! The atmosphere is absolutely charming.

Delicious Ouzo. Beautiful colors on the wall. 5 euro for a green Ouzo - strong drink! Not much seating area so go early.
A must stop for Ouzo drinkers! Staff were quick and friendly also.

The oldest bar in Greece. And it still offers a unique experience. Of course the first impression is won by the amazing interior with the bottles on shelves that reach the ceiling. But the variety of alcoholic drinks is also amazing. Highly recommended for the lovers of all kinds of spirits but especially wines and brandys. Don't neglect to stop by!

This is an excellent experience. I first came here in 2003. The boss still sits in the same place keeping a close eye on the operation. The staff are lovely and if not too busy are very open to conversation. I enjoy it very much and now that I live and work in Athens I will bring many friends here. Fr. Leonard
