Place was great. I loved the food, wine, and atmosphere. Only dislike was the seatting was tight next to other people. Staff was very knowledgable. Almost no english is spoken here.

Amazing pasta and pizza. Fresh ingredients and great wine. Definitely the best in Mainz by far. They have a nice patio, recommend sitting outside in the summer. Reservations definitely needed for dinner.

I would give zero stars if I just could. Probably the worst experience I ever had with any restaurant all over the world (and this means a lot). We were there with our 3-year old, and we made a reasonable order: one appetizer, one pizza for our 3-year old and two dishes for us. The muzarella simply was not fresh, and pizza, which was supposed to be with proscuitto came with regular ham (pretty cheap one). Even worse, after 1 hour and 20 minutes they have not even started preparing our main dishes!! I was asking them twice beforehand, getting the answers "it is coming soon". After 1 hour and 20 minutes they said: "It is coming in 10 minutes". Eventually we were forced to leave without eating. We felt very unwelcome there. The group nearby us, that spoke German, even though they came after us, were served there food and finished eating when were still waiting for our food. Bad food, disgusting and border-line humiliating service. If you do not speak German, you are clearly treated as a second-class customer. Do not believe good reviews here, I honestly doubt how authentic they are. AVOID!!!!
