One of the highlights of Hannover is the Neues Rathaus or New Town Hall in English. This magnificent building has a beautiful backdrop of water and gardens worth visiting it also has a sweeping forecourt leading up to the entrance steps. Once in side you can ride the elevator to the top of the town hall and climb a few stairs to a panoramic viewing area and take in amazing views of all of Hannover and as far as the eye or your camera lens can see. Not to be missed for lovers of architecture and photography lovers alike. Simply breathtaking.

Huge monument with a history of Hannover culture inside. It has 3-D maps before and after the world wars. Behind the structure there is a lake with lot of birds.

Nice building.
Recommend the visit on the roof for a nice view of hanover.

It's worth it to take the unique diagonal elevator to the top of the dome. The view was excellent!

Beautiful place, inside and outside. Unfortunately, outside (backside facing the pond) is under construction as of May 2017.
