Very interesting animatronics, sadly they are falling apart due to lack of maintenance/funding.
Worth visiting just for the uniqueness of the experience, and to help the artists maintaining it.

Probably the best place in the city to feel the real Berlin vibe - with all this metal monsters moving crippled, making weird noises and performing the real show to the hardest techno possible. You can enjoy the whole story for 20 min and then grab a cold beer in the neighbor bar Eschschloraque built by the same artist in the same style. highly recommended!

Tired of all the museums and regular attractions in Berlin? Then it is time for something completely different, Monsterkabinett. Just finding the entrance to this attraction is part of the fun as it is at the end of one of two alleys with incredible street art. Once you find the entrance, the fun has barely started. A trip down through the basement of mechanical curiosities that entertain, frighten, and surprise you.

That is it? That's hard to describe. Maybe the babies of the Muppets and evil robots?

We took our two boys (ages 6 and 10) to this and they really enjoyed it. They were provided with hearing protection as the creatures can be a little loud, but the boys took the protection off about half way through the tour as they didn't feel it was that bad. The youngest particularly liked the exploding head and helped restuff the "brains" back into robot for the next show. Neither of them were scared, but it is dark and loud.

If you are in Berlin while this show is running, definitely put this on your "must do" list.

Well it is something different. I liked the machines and how they move. But it was a bit too childish and too loud for me. Not really scary or creepy. The 20 minutes were not really worth 8 euros.

What a sight! This slightly scary, mostly funny, and truly strange show will have you grinning from ear to ear. For 8 Euro it's worth the crazy experience. Great a beer from the bar next door. Check out the extensive gift shop and art gallery upstairs. Snap pics of the every changing graffiti covered walls. Support the artists work by just going to the quirky show. If you like macabre, robots, steampunk, or eclectic art you'll want to see this.
